There comes a time in your life whether you’re 25, 18 or 41, where you hit rock bottom. When you realize that you’re old habits are standing in your way. I would like to tell you it’s easy, but by experience, reexamining yourself is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do. You’re stubborn, it’s natural, and you like habits because it’s safe and it’s what you “know”. This does not mean that you are treating yourself the way you should be, or treating others the way they deserve. And the truth is, that this is a lonely road, because no one is experiencing this moment the same way as you, some people need more time while others don’t. What’s important is to surround yourself with people who see potential in you, who will call you out on your bullshit and who will support you even though you mess up a few times. It’s a personal journey, which will give you perspective and motivation, and it takes guts and will power.
